Community Manager- West New York, NJ
We are seeking an experienced and driven Community Manager to serve as the on-site operational authority for a residential community located in West New York, New Jersey. This position is responsible for the full administration, management, and day-to-day operations of the property and requires a dedicated on-site presence five days per week.
The Community Manager oversees all building operations, vendor performance, preventative maintenance planning, resident relations, financial processes, and compliance with Association policies and Board directives.
We're looking for a proactive professional who can coordinate multiple moving parts, maintain a high-quality residential environment, and ensure clear, timely communication with residents and the Board.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the community, ensuring compliance with governing documents and established standards
- Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally
- Manage budgets, prepare financial reports, and monitor expenditures
- Coordinate maintenance and repair projects with contractors and vendors
- Integrate and oversee all contracted vendors and service providers
- Conduct regular property inspections and implement preventative maintenance plans
- Prepare for and facilitate Board meetings, including providing updates and recommendations
- Enforce Association policies, rules, and regulations
- Ensure community amenities are well-maintained and operating efficiently
- Foster positive resident relations and enhance overall community engagement
Qualifications:
- 5–10 years of condominium/property management experience (multi-building or mid-rise experience preferred)
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software
- High School Diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Ability to be on-call for emergencies as needed
- Industry credentials such as CMCA, AMS, or PCAM are a plus
Compensation:
- Salary starting at $90,000, negotiable based on experience
